Comparisons
Written by us.
Read it that way.
A comparison page from a vendor is an advert unless it can name a reason to buy the other product. Each of these opens with three, before it says anything in our favour — and every negative on them is about Pertavo, because what a competitor cannot do is not ours to claim.
Pertavo vs Clio
If your firm runs its trust ledger, its billing and its court dates inside one system, buy Clio. If those live elsewhere and what you actually open every day is the matter, its documents and the signature at the end, the per-seat bill is paying for a suite you are not using.
No prices quoted — their pricing page cannot be checked automatically, so we give you the arithmetic instead.
Pertavo vs MyCase
MyCase puts trust accounting in its cheapest plan, which is genuinely useful if the client account has to live in the same system as the file. Pertavo does time and invoicing now, but not the trust side, and charges once for the whole firm instead of once per person.
Their published prices, read 6 October 2026.
Pertavo vs PracticePanther
PracticePanther is the closest of the suites to a small firm on price and simplicity, and it still charges per person. If you need the billing and the trust ledger, that is the right trade. If you do not, you are buying seats for a system you use a third of.
